About Us
My original "dream job" was working in a major prison with the criminally insane to figure it out where it all went wrong. Interesting? Yes! Boring? Never! Like most paths, there was a fork in the road and I had children.
I chose a new profession working with children. At that point, my outlook changed to if I could make a difference in the lives of children in my care they could make better choices throughout their lives.
About Our Facility
Duncan Child Care is a vibrant daycare center in Arkansas City, KS providing quality childcare services for children of all ages. Our experienced team of professionals has been providing nurturing care since 1996 and has established long-term relationships with families across the community. Our priority is to create a safe and welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
At Duncan Child Care, we provide age-appropriate activities and educational programs designed to enhance physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative development. We offer full-day or part-time programs for infants up to kindergarteners as well as before and after-school programs for elementary-aged kids. Our curriculum focuses on play-based learning, allowing kids to explore their interests through self-directed play.

I am CDA qualified as well as earning a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Scott Duncan
Husband & Back-up Caregiver
Scott has completed all the training needed to be a Backup Caregiver including Pediatric First Aid/CPR staying current with all accreditations.

Daughter & Back-up Caregiver
